Li Yuchun Goes on First China Tour

Super Girl Li Yuchun will kick off her first China tour this weekend promoting her debut album "The Queen and the Dreams" released earlier this month.

Li has chosen the eastern city of Nanjing as her first stop, where the "corns" (fans of Li Yuchun) will get up close and personal with the supernova through several activities. Local radio and television stations will also broadcast exclusive interviews with Li.

Li released her first album on September 15 on the Taihe Rye label. Sources from major CD stores say the record is among the hottest.

The 22-year-old won the popular "Super Girl" singing competition last year and has gained a solid fan base nationwide with her voice and androgynous appearance.
